Kereta Api merupakan salah satu sarana transportasi publik yang banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat terutama untuk transportasi jarak jauh. Untuk memberikan pelayanan publik secara optimal maka diberlakukan sistem shift untuk pegawai operasional stasiun. Namun ketika sistem shift diberlakukan maka akan timbul beberapa permasalahan seperti stress akibat pegawaian tersebut melebihi kemampuannya dalam bekerja. Maka penelitian ini akan melakukan pengukuran stres pegawai operasional stasiun kereta api daerah operasi 2 Bandung menggunakan aktivitas α- amilase dan NASA – Task Load Index (TLX). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa stress selama bekerja banyak terjadi di pagi hari.   Kata kunci: Kereta, Stres, Enzim α-Amilase, NASA- Task Load Index (TLX) ABSTRACT Train is one of public transportation which often used by society especially for long distance transportation. For giving good public service, they make job shift system for station operational employee. However, when job shift system arrangement, it will make effects of problems such as stress it caused by employee receiving workload exceeds their ability. Therefore this observe will do stress measurement at second area of railroad operation in Bandung using α-amylase activity and NASA – Task Load Index (TLX). Results showed that a lot of work stress occurs in the morning. Keywords: Train, Stress, Salivary α-Amylase, NASA – Task Load Index (TLX)
