Pengembangan Perangkat Assessment Berbasis Keterampilan Generik Sains pada Mata Kuliah Praktikum Kimia Dasar Lanjut

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang difokuskan untuk mengembangkan perangkat assessment berbasis keterampilan generik sains (KGS) pada mata kuliah praktikum kimia dasar lanjut yang meliputi pra-praktikum, proses praktikum, dan laporan praktikum. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengadopsi model pengembangan perangkat Plomp, yang terdiri dari fase investigasi awal, fase desain, fase realisasi/konstruksi, fase tes, evaluasi dan revisi, dan fase implementasi. Perangkat assessment berbasis KGS dikembangkan telah divalidasi oleh dua orang ahli kemudian direvisi sehingga didapatkan perangkat valid. Uji coba terbatas dan implementasi dilakukan di Jurusan Kimia FMIPA Universitas Negeri Makassar dengan jumlah mahasiswa 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat assessment yang dikembangkan setelah dilakukan validasi dinyakatan valid karena koefisien validasi isi > 0,75 atau 0,75% yaitu 1,00. Perangkat assessment dinyatakan praktis karena sebagian besar aspek direspon positif oleh asisten. Perangkat assessment dinyatakan efektif karena telah memenuhi kriteria keefektifan, dengan hasil: (1) Skor keseluruhan praktikan berada pada kategori sangat baik, (2) Aktivitas asisten dan praktikan terpenuhi. Kata kunci; generik sains,assessment, praktikum kimia ABSTRACT This study is a development research which focused by developing assessment instrument based on Science Generic Skill (SGS) on advance chemistry experimental, include pre-experiment, experiment process, and experiment report. This research adopted the development model of Plomp’s lesson instrument, consist of several phases; initial investigation, design phase, realization/construction phase, test phase, evaluation phase, revision phase, and implementation phase. The developed assessment instrument based on SGS has been validated by two experts and also been revised, thus the valid instrument was achieved. Partial try out and implementation were done at Chemistry Department of Mathematic and Natural Sciences Faculty UNM, by number of sample are 30 students. The result shows that the developed assessment instrument was valid categorize, validation coefficient of >0.75 or 0.75 % is 1.00. The developed assessment instrument was practical for most of the aspect were given positive response by the assistant. The developed assessment instrument was effective, comply effectively criteria (1)  score of all students were very good category (2) activities of assistant and students were fulfilled.
