ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aspek sosial-emosional anak TK Merpati Pos tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 melalui penerapan kegiatan bermain musik. Berdasarkan observasi pada anak TK Merpati Pos Kerten sebanyak 30 anak, perkembangan aspek sosial-emosional anak belum optimal. Perkembangan aspek sosial-emosional anak berhubungan dengan kecerdasan emosional anak. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dilakukan selama 2 siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kegiatan bermain musik dapat meningkatkan aspek sosial-emosional anak TK Merpati Pos tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata kunci : sosial-emosional, bermain musikABSTRACK This study aims to improve the social-emotional aspects of kindergarten children Merpati Pos year 2013/2014 through the implementation of activities to play music. Based on the observation of kindergarten children Kerten Merpati Pos as many as 30 children, social-emotional development of children is not optimal. The development of childrens social-emotional aspects related to the childs emotional intelligence. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), carried out for 2 cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed that the application of music play activities can enhance socio-emotional of kindergarten children Merpati Pos year 2013/2014.Keywords: social-emotional, play music
