The objectives of this research were to study the influence of feeding high saturated or unsaturated rations combined with probiotic on feed conversion, carcass weight, abdominal fat weight in broiler chicken. Thirty six male broilers chicken, strain Arbor Acrees Cp 707, aged 30 days, were used in this research. The chicken were allotted into 6 groups of treatments and 6 replications of each group. All treatments were using iso-protein (22.00 — 22.30 % crude protein) and iso — metabolizable energy ration (3.120 — 3.150 Kcal/kg ME). Feed and drinking water were given ad libitum twice a day (morning and afternoon) for 4 weeks. Probiotic used in this research contained 54 — 92 x 10 big Lactobacillus acidophilus. The treatments were as follow: T.1 = basal ration, T.2 = basal ration + probiotic, T.3 = high unsaturated fat ration, T.4 = high unsaturated fat ration + probiotic, T.5 = saturated fat ration, and T.6 = saturated fat ration + probiotic. Feed consumption and weight gain were measured once a week.. At the end of the treatment period, all treated chicken were weighed and all Broilers chicken were then killed with a slaughting knife, necropsied carcass and abdominal fat were weighed. All data were analysed  statistically using General Linear Model from SAS. Based on the result could be concluded that feeding high unsaturated fat ration significantly increased feed conversion, carcas weight and decreased abdominal fat weight. Adding probiotic containing Lactobacillus acidophilus either to high saturated or unsaturated fat ration improved feed conversion. Whereas adding probiotik in basal ration decreased abdominal fat in broiler chicken. Keywords: saturated/unsaturated fat — conversion feed — carcas and abdominal fat
