ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan studi retrospektif pada penderita anak-anak yang dirawat di ruangan penyakit kulit RSU Dr. Soetomo Surabaya, periode 2002–2006. Data yang diteliti meliputi jumlah penderita, kelompok usia, jenis kelamin, distribusi penyakit, lama keluhan sebelum masuk rumah sakit, lama perawatan, keadaan penderita saat masuk dan keluar rumah sakit serta kelengkapan pemeriksaan laboratorium. Dari 427 penderita anak yang dirawat di IRNA Penyakit Kulit dan Kelamin RSU Dr. Soetomo Surabaya, terdiri dari 184 penderita perempuan dan 243 penderita laki-laki. Lima penyakit kulit anak terbanyak adalah: dermatitis, infeksi virus, penyakit alergi-imunologik, piodermi dan infeksi bakteri. Lama perawatan penderita rawat map terbanyak 4–6 hari. Kata kunci: penyakit kulit penderita anak ABSTRACT A retrospective study of the children who were admitted to the Dermatology Department Dr. Soetomo General Hospital Surabaya during the period of 2002–2006 is conducted. Data analyzed incuding age group, sex, distribution of the disease, length of treatment of these patient, state of patient when admitted and discharge from hospital and laboratory examination. From 427 children hospitalized during this period, there were 243 males and 184 females. Five main disease found were dermatitis, viral infection, alergic and immunologic disease, pyoderma and bacterial infection. The average length of stay in hospital was 4–6 days.
