This study  seeks to uncover the methodological problem contained in the Arabic learning in PPMI Ngatabaru. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach and inductive mindset in analyzing the data found in the field through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results shows: Arabic language learning system in PPMI Ngatabaru has several complementary components, namely: a) Students b) Teacher c) The purpose of learning, e) learning method, and f) Evaluation of learning.  Several methodological problems encountered are: a) The knowledge of some teachers about the system and method of Arabic learning is still minimal, b) Selection and application of learning methods, c) condition/learning environ -ment; d) motivation of students to study Arabic is still minimum; e) the use of learning media has not been varied. While the solutions taken to overcome the problems, are: a) Providing time to make a question, b) providing an opportunity of remedial (Islah al-Lugah), c) using Indonesian in explaining the materia l that is difficult for students, d) temporarily diverting the attention of students, e) developing a method of learning that is appropriate to the abilities of the students, and f) evaluating the methods used to obtain feedback as well as input in order t o improve the Arabic language learning.  Key  word: System, Learning, Arabic.
