The development of Information Communication and Technology(ICT) has a significant impact in many aspects of human life. The impact isevident, especially in any institution or service providers such as banking,healthcare, transportation, education, and library. In service activities, thereare four benefits of using ICT usually called 4 E benefits; “Economy, Easy,Extension/expansion, and Efficiency “. However, if we are carefully readingthe writings related to information, we could also find a variety of terms todescribe the power of today’s information such as “Expode of Information,Bombardired by information, Flood of Information, Information overload, etc. Unfortunately, All of the terms has negative connotation. In other words,all indicates catastrophe. Although they simply mean describing the amountof available information today, but it can cause anxiety and distress for everyinformation seekers.Furthermore, it is pointed out that the application of ICT in the world is verysignificant information to be implemented in the library. Why? Because thelibrary is one of information resources that has a capability and competenceof the information meaning. The library has the right to acquire, manage,process, and report the selected and actual information to the users or thesociety. So the information generated by the library is the information that isreally useful for them. This means that the information presented is not merelycommon information but has been processed through stages by librarians whohave competences in presenting the information.
