Abstract The research objective is to produce: a) the design of interactive learning models, b) Syllabus Physics I, c) Contract lecture, d) SAP, and e) learning textbook Physics I. This study uses the research "Research and Development or R & D Cycle, conducted in odd semester academic year 2011/2012. Study sample are students who actively implement the learning competency of Physics I Data collection techniques used were observation and documentation study for the learning needs analysis and design models. Interviews, questionnaires and classroom observation sheet to see the success of the learning process. The test results of student learning to see the effectiveness of interactive learning model prototype developed. Learning models implementation results that average students learning in the course Physics I is 82.86. Student learning outcome data showed that 97% of students may exceed the limits for the subjects passed Physics I, because the limit is the value passed subjects e" 27% of students categorized 70. Terdapat kompenten enough, 35% of students categorized competence and 35% of students are categorized very competence. Nevertheless there are still 3% of students who are not categorized competence.
