The Effect Of Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model Toward Learning Interest In Third Semester Students Of Islamic Education MAjor In IAIN Bukitinggi. Tarbiyah Lecturer’s Research, 2015. This research is aimed to find out: 1) how is the jigsaw cooperative learning model in Learning Evaluation course for third semester students  of islamic education major in IAIN Bukittinggi (X); 2) what is students’ learning interest in Learning Evaluation course for  third semester students of islamic education major in IAIN Bukittinggi? Is there any effect of jigsaw cooperative learning model toward the learniing interest of third semester students of islamic education major in IAIN Bukittinggi?This research was conducted through survey method by using the technique of regression analysis with one predictor. The total population in this research is 353 students in which 11.9% of them is taken as sample, so the sample used is 42 students. The data were collected through questionnaire, documentation, and observation. Questionnaire was used to explore the data about jigsaw cooperative learning model and learning interest in Learning Evaluation course for third semester students of Islamic education major in IAIN Bukittinggi while documentation was used to explore the data about jigsaw cooperative learning model in Learning evaluation course.The collected data were then analyzed by using statistical analysis. Hypothesis is tested through regression analysis and correlation (regression analysis and one predictor with deviation score). From the hyphothesis testing, the researcher is informed that: 1) Jigsaw cooperative learning model is in the “average” category with the mean score 66  in 65-67 interval. 2) Third semester students’ learning interest of Islamic education major in IAIN Bukittinggi is in “average” category with the mean score 65.95 in 65-67 interval. 3) There is a positive effect of jigsaw cooperative learning model toward learning interest in Learning Evaluation course for third semester students of islamic education major in IAIN Bukittinggi, which is demonstrated from the statistical analysis rxy= 0.6365 while from hypothesis testing by simple regression analysis, it is obtained that Y = 0.5182 X + 31.3701. To find out about the significant of regression equation, the researcher used variant analysis for regression. From this analysis, it is obtained that the score for Fhitung = 27.2373 > Ftable for significant level in 5 % is 4.08 while the obtained score for significant level in 1 % is 7.31. since Fhitung > Ftable , it is concluded that regression equation is significant while the positive effect of jigsaw cooperative learning model toward learning interest in Learning Evaluation course for third semester students of islamic education major in IAIN Bukittinggi is 0.6365 in which 0.304 in significant levelof 5 % and 0.393 in significant level of 1%. As rxy > rt, the result is significant.
