ABSTRACT: With the increase of global warming and getting a completely electric energy use issues. Computer electronics is one of which requires treatment which is not easy. Surveillance of rising temperatures require special attention turunya. The omission gives rise to many problems computer users, when temperatures in the hardware components generate up to temperature place coupled with the State of the computer. Then one of the overhead, satun problem in computer performance requires a temperature control that corresponds to the location of the computer work when temperature rises above the normal temperature for cooling an additional computer (fan). As for the problem, namely how to design and build a computer cooling automatic control by utilizing a series of microcontroller, which replaced the manual switch ATMega8L coolers (fan). Useful tool temperature control that computer automatically perform computer cooling for temperature control to keep the hardware in the computer performance based ATmega8L Microcontroller. This research Literature, using the method of observation, System Design Tools, Development Tools, testing Tools and implementation of the System of work Tools. In order for automatic tool systems can run well and is working as expected. Then the main components, and customized support software. Among other series Power Supply, Minimum set of System, IC LM35 Temperature Sensor circuit and circuit provisioning tool. As well as the software used Code Vision Evaluation and AVR Studio4. With the founding of computer cooling automatic control tool expected to provide solutions to control temperature automatically at computer cooling and maintaining computer hardware performance when the computer work Key words: Cooling Computer, Microcontroller   ABSTRAKSI: Dengan meningkatnya pemanasan global dan semakin kompleknya persoalan penggunaan energi listrik. Komputer merupakan salah satu barang elektronik yang memerlukan perawatan yang tidak mudah. Pengawasan terhadap naik turunya suhu memerlukan perhatian khusus. Kelalaian pengguna komputer menimbulkan banyak masalah, ketika suhu yang di hasilkan komponen hardware naik ditambah dengan suhu keadaan tempat komputer. Maka salah satun masalah terjadinya overhead, didalam kinerja komputer memerlukan kendali suhu yang  sesuai dengan lokasi kerja komputer saat  suhu naik diatas suhu normal untuk pendingin tambahan komputer (kipas). Adapun masalahnya yaitu bagaimana merancang dan membangun alat kontrol otomatis pendingin komputer dengan memanfaatkan rangkaian mikrokontroler ATMega8L yang menggantikan saklar manual pendingin tambahan (kipas). Manfaatnya alat kontrol suhu komputer tersebut secara otomatis menjalankan pendingin komputer untuk pengendalian suhu menjaga kesetabilan kinerja hardware pada komputer yang berbasis Mikrokontroler ATmega8L. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Literatur, Observasi, Perancangan Sistem Alat, Pembangunan Alat, Pengujian Sistem Kerja Alat dan Implementasi Alat. Agar sistem alat otomatis dapat berjalan dengan baik dan bekerja sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.  Maka komponen-komponen utama, pendukung dan perangkat lunaknya disesuaikan. Antara lain rangkaian Power Supply, rangkaian Sistem Minimum, rangkaian Sensor Suhu IC LM35 dan rangkaian alat lainya. Serta perangkat lunak yang digunakan Code Vision Evaluation dan AVR Studio4. Dengan dibangunnya alat kontrol otomatis pendingin komputer diharapkan mampu memberi solusi  terhadap pengendalian suhu secara otomatis pada pendingin komputer dan  menjaga kesetabilan kinerja hardware komputer pada saat komputer beroprasi.
