Peningkatan Pemahaman Konsep Ikatan Kimia Mahasiswa Calon Guru Melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis E-Learning

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan kendala pembelajaran ikatan kimia melalui pembelajaran e-learning. Konsep yang diteliti adalah ikatan antar atom. Penelitian bersifat eksperimen dengan melibatkan dua kelas yaitu kelas e-learning murni di salah satu LPTK di Palu dan e-learning sebagai pendamping perkuliahan reguler di salah satu LPTK di Bandung dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Selama pembelajaran mahasiswa login dan menemukan permasalahan yang dirujuk pada materi inti dan materi tambahan. Mahasiswa mengirim jawaban dan melakukan diskusi di setiap tahapan pembelajaran yang terangkum dalam siklus TUTOR yang telah disimpan di web: tutor.goroworks.com. Data berupa skor pretes-postes, angket, wawancara dan printscreen aktifitas mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa  kelas e-learning murni dan kelas e-learning sebagai pendamping tetapi lebih baik pada kelas e-learning sebagai pendamping. Kendala pembelajaran e-learning adalah koneksi yang lama dan peralihan pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran e-learning. Kata kunci: calon guru, konsep ikatan kimia, Pembelajaran e-learning ABSTRACT The aim of this study to determine the improvement of the concept understanding and learning problems of chemical bonding based on e-learning. Concept that was studied is the atomic bonding. This study is experimental research involve two classes the pure is e-learning classes in one LPTK Palu and e-learning as a supporting to the regular lectures in one LPTK Bandung with purposive sampling. During learning, the students log in and find the problems referred to the subject matter and additional subject. Students submit the answers and discuss at every step of TUTOR learning cycle that has been stored on web: tutor.goroworks.com. The data are pretest-posttest score, questionnaires, interviews and printscreen of student activities. The results showed showed an increase in chemical bonding concept understanding of pure e-learning and  e-learning  as supporting but in e-learning as supporting class is better. The barriers of e-learning is a slow connection and transition of face to face learning into e-learning. Keywords: prospective teachers chemical bonding concept, e-learning
